CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Sensor Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the plastic part.
Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.
Unless otherwise indicated, illustrations used in the procedure are for 1.5 L engine.

Replace


NOTE: Make sure to reset the learned value of CVT system when replacing hydraulically-controlled parts in order not to cause any damage the transmission. The learned value of the CVT system is reset when the negative battery terminal is disconnected.

3. CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Sensor - Remove


4. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
Be sure to use a new sealing washer.
Check the connector for corrosion, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary.

5. TCM - Reset (1.5 L engine)

NOTE:
This procedure is not required, only for replacing CVT driven pulley pressure sensor.
This procedure is not required, if the CVT driven pulley pressure sensor and the TCM are replaced simultaneously.
