Wiper Arm/Nozzle Adjustment
Windshield

1. Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjustment

Adjust the washer nozzles by gently gripping, and then moving, the outside of each nozzle (A).
Do not insert tools into the nozzle hole (B), as it may cause the washer fluid to spray incorrectly.


Wiper Arms Park Position

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then turn the wiper switch ON, and then back OFF.

When the wiper arms stop at the auto-stop position, make sure that they are at the correct position.

a: Position at about 49 mm (1.93 in) from the top of the cowl cover (C).

b: Position at about 24 mm (0.94 in) from the top of the cowl cover (C).


Washer Nozzle Position

When you turn on the washer, make sure 50 % or more of the washer fluid lands within the spray area. If the spray area is not within the standard positions, adjust the nozzle(s).

d: Position at about 270 mm (10.63 in) from the windshield center line (D).

e: Position at about 210.3 mm (8.28 in) from the bottom of the black ceramic area (E) at the inside lower windshield.

f: Position at about 97.8 mm (3.85 in) from the windshield center line (D).

Rear Window

2. Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjustment

Adjust the washer nozzles by gently gripping, and then moving, the outside of nozzle (A).
Do not insert tools into the nozzle hole (B), as it may cause the washer fluid to spray incorrectly.


Wiper Arm Park Position

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then turn the wiper switch ON, and then back OFF.

When the wiper arms stop at the park position, make sure that they are at the correct position.

a: Wiper arm stop position on the rear window defogger.


Washer Nozzle Position

When you turn on the washer(s), make sure 50 % or more of the washer fluid lands within the spray area. If the spray area is not within the standard positions, adjust the nozzle.

b: Position at about 282 mm (3.85 in) from the rear window center line (C).

d: Position at about 6.5 mm (0.256 in) from the top of the black ceramic area (D).

e: Position at about 40.6 mm (1.598 in) from the top of the rear window washer area (E).
