Front Seat Cushion Cover Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1.	Front Seat - Remove

2.	Front Seat Outer Recline Cover - Remove

3.	Front Seat Inner Recline Cover - Remove (Driver's Seat)

4.	Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad - Remove

From under the seat cushion, release the elastic strap (A) from the seat cushion frame springs (B).

For some models: From under the seat cushion, disconnect the connectors (A), and remove the harness clips (B).

Release the hooks (A).

Release the hooks (A) and the hook strip (B).

Driver's seat: Remove the clip(s) (C).

Power seat: Remove the retainer(s) (D) from the seat frame.

Remove the seat cushion cover/pad (A).

5.	Front Seat Cushion Cover - Remove

Pull off the band (A) of the seat cushion cover (B).

Remove the upholstery rings (A), and then remove the seat cushion cover (B).

6.	All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat cushion cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
