Replace


NOTE:
Do not disconnect the suction hose and the discharge hose.
Do not bend the suction hose and the discharge hose excessively.
Hang the A/C compressor with a wire tie.

8. Torque Converter Cover - Remove


10. Intermediate Shaft Mounting Bolt - Remove


11. Oil Pan - Remove

Remove the oil pan mounting bolts.

2.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, separate the oil pan from the engine block in the places shown.

3.
Remove the oil pan.

Torque: N·m (kgf·m, lbf·ft)

Replace

1. Oil Pan - Install


1.
Apply liquid gasket to the engine block and the cam chain case mating surface of the oil pan, and to the inside edge of the threaded bolt holes.

2.
Install the oil pan (A) with new O-rings (B).

3.
Tighten the oil pan mounting bolts in three steps. In the final step, torque all bolts, in sequence, to the specified torque. Wipe off the excess liquid gasket on the each side of crankshaft pulley and drive plate.

Specified Torque:
12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)

4. Torque Converter Cover - Install


5. Oil Return Hose - Connect
