Speaker Removal, Installation, and Test
Door Speaker

1. Door Panel - Remove


2. Door Speaker - Remove

Remove the bolt, then lift the door speaker (A) straight up to release the lower clips (B).

2.
Disconnect the connector.

3. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Front Tweeter

2. Front Tweeter - Remove


3. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Tweeter

2. Rear Tweeter - Remove


3. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Subwoofer

2. Subwoofer - Remove


3. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Door Speaker, Rear Speaker

1. Door Speaker, Rear Speaker - Test


1.
Measure the resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be about 4 ?.

2.
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the door speaker.

Tweeter

1. Tweeter - Test

1.
Measure the resistance between terminal No. 1 and the outside terminal of the capacitor (A). There should be about 4 ?. Also visually check the capacitor for damage.

2.
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the tweeter.

Subwoofer

1. Subwoofer - Test


1.
Measure the resistance between the terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be about 2 ?.

2.
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the subwoofer.
